Description:Help and support for up to 4-6 weeks after discharge from Loughborough Hospital. Fully trained volunteers undertake tasks normally done by a carer (in the absence of friend or relative) i.e. shopping, preparing meals, etc. Complements care provided by statutory agencies. Referral via Ward Sister/Staff Nurse/GP/Social Services or local branch of Red Cross.
