What is Life Coaching?
Life Coaching enables the client to set and achieve goals of their own volition, with the support of the coach. It's not 'done to' the client, but is a collaboration between coach and client. The fundamental concept behind coaching is that the coach works to unlock the resources and answers within the client, and does not give them the answer, or in any way offer advice. This is because people are much more likely to do the things for which they take responsibility.
Why do we need Life Coaching?
Life Coaching helps you see your life from a new perspective, giving you insight and clarity, as well as confidence to move forward. It helps you to set personal goals and to discover how to achieve them.
Who can benefit?
Everyone, irrespective of age or personal circumstances. The Coach does not need to address one ‘problem’ in your life, but can work with you to balance areas of your life which are important to you.
How does it work?
An initial no obligation telephone conversation establishes how the coach might work with the client. Subsequent 45 minute sessions are agreed, either over the telephone or at a location mutually convenient for coach and client. Individual sessions cost from £30.
Group sessions are an excellent motivator in themselves and offer a cost effective introduction to the concept of life coaching. To participate in a group session can cost as little as £30 for 3 hours.
