We specialise in high level photography providing a simple, cost-effective method of capturing promotional, functional and survey images. We use a remote controlled digital camera and wide-angled lens on top of a self-contained, non-invasive, free-standing mast that extends from 10' to 50' allowing access to previously inaccessible places. The images are seen live at ground level so you know you have the shots you want before I leave the site. The equipment allows great flexibility all round, both inside and out, requiring only about half a car parking space for assembly, although the mast can be fitted into quite tight corners. We specialise in creating images with altitude.

Taking wide-angled survey pictures of roofs and high ceilings and zooming into capture fine detail becomes easy with this equipment. The camera can be positioned to take images from any angle, from ceiling to ground and remote 360 degree movement - with live images on site.

We have taken surveying photographs at the Cadbury's site at Bourneville for the engineers on site. John Dilley - the Project Engineer for the survey carried out by Lorien Engineering said " There is no doubt that the Giraffe Photography saved us time on site, back in the office and resulted in very clear representation of the survey that the client could easily relate with and understand."

Photographs are becoming increasingly important to promote, record progress, prove, survey or simply show off our businesses, products and environment. We can record health and safety issues, progression shots, dilapidations, building condition at the beginning and end of a lease and help simplify disputes by providing visual evidence. Planning application support images show a proposed site, existing amenities and access points effectively creating a site meeting without the planning committee leaving the office reducing the consideration time. Pictures really do tell a thousand words and are available for all to see in so many applications - the possibilities are endless!

We are ideally based in Melbourne in the Midlands to reach any area of the country. I have worked for the National Trust, Chatsworth House, the Environment Agency, Baggaley Construction, William Davis Construction, Danaher and Walsh, Civil and Structural Engineers, Surveyors, Architects, CBREllis, Historical Conservation and estate agents to name but a few. I have full insurance, risk and method statements, CITB Construction Skills Certificate (CSCS) Site Visitor card, hard hat, high vis vest and safety boots at the ready to cover all eventualities!

Images are normally presented as 300dpi A4/10x8"approx jpegs on CD but different formats and file sizes can be arranged as required. At this resolution the images will blow up to poster size quite happily making them ideal for display and marketing purposes or down-sized for web or Internet use. Mid-range and close-up high level images are included if required. Hand-held images can also be taken to compliment the high level shots as required. As with yourselves no doubt, strong winds and rain are a consideration when arranging a shoot but this does not usually present too much of a problem.
