Mr Maud is great, always puts you at ease, and I have always been terrified of dentists !! I used to have an injection to numb the pain but since being his patient I have learned to trust him when he says I don't need an injection. For instance, if I need a filling and he has to drill, he will let me know if it is no where near a nerve, so no injection. I can walk out of there with no numb mouth or dribbling, and I can talk talk properly, which I think is brilliant. When I did have an injection once, I didn't even realise he had done it ! The dentists I had seen before all used to ram the needle in and then twist it around, ouch !!! Can't fault Mr Maud.HE CARES about his patients and knows they need reassurance. Best dentist I have ever seen in 54 years !!!!
