Turning Point Leicestershire serves the town and rural populations of Loughborough, Charnwood and North West Leicestershire. Working with anyone concerned about their own or someone else's substance use (illicit drugs &/or alcohol), the service provides open access to advice, information, general support and needle exchange in addition to structured interventions including motivational enhancement, substance reduction plans and counselling. Needle exchange and information sessions are provided on an outreach basis. BME community drug workers are responsible for developing links with BME communities in the area.
