Laptop computer stolen from a narrow boat in Loughborough

Officers from Loughborough local policing unit are appealing for public help after the theft of a laptop computer in Loughborough.

The Toshiba F10 silver laptop computer was stolen from a narrow boat which was moored on Bishop Meadow Lock, Swingbridge Road, Loughborough.  The incident took place sometime between 6pm on Friday June 8 and 1am on Saturday June 9.

The owner is offering a £500 reward for any information which leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible and the return of the stolen item.

PC Lee Thompson is investigating the incident, he said: "I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or knows anything about the stolen computer to contact us.  I would also urge anyone who was in the area during the evening of the incident to think back and contact us if they remember seeing anyone acting suspiciously."
