Step back in time at Beacon Hill

beacon hill in loughboroughVisit Beacon Hill Country Park on Sunday 22nd July between 10am and 4pm and discover some of the ancient skills of Leicestershires past. Find out how arrow heads were made from flint, watch a bronze smith at work, discover ancient fire lighting skills and turn your hand to green woodworking or even have your face painted with Celtic designs.

You will also be able to take part in guided walks around the archaeological features left by the inhabitants of Beacon Hill over 3000 years ago and meet some of the colourful characters helping to recreate the landscape today.
