Pirates set course for Loughborough

pirate and parotBe sure to sharpen your cutlasses and get ready to sail into action with the Pirates of Leicestershire in Market towns and shopping centres across the County this summer!

The Pirates of Leicestershire welcome you aboard to join them in an exciting, fun packed adventure - a treasure chest of pirate fun including sand-pits, street trails, colouring competitions, fairground rides and much, much more.

Dont miss out me brave buccaneers - look out for the skull and crossbones and prepare for piracy and summer fun on the high street! Get ready to meet the swashbuckling Pirates of Leicestershire between 10am and 4pm in Loughborough - Sunday 12 through to Wednesday 15 August in Town Hall Square.

Most of the events and activities are FREE and buckets and spades will be available!

The Pirates of Leicestershire is a Leicestershire County Council regeneration initiative, in partnership with town centre managers.

Leicestershire libraries and museums are also running lots of pirate events and activities including two competitions " The Poetic Pirates for children aged 8-12 and a colouring competition for 4-7s.
