Making a Noise in Loughborough Library

quiet pleaseWho said libraries are supposed to be quiet? Drop in at Loughborough Library, in Granby Street , on Wednesday 11 July between 2.00 and 2.30pm for stories and a cup of coffee, and find out just how much goes on in libraries.

The free story telling event for grown ups of all ages, is taking place during, Make a Noise in Libraries Fortnight, a RNIB national campaign which aims to raise awareness of how libraries can help blind and partially sighted people access books and information

Loughborough Library has an extensive range of books in large print, and audio books on tape or CD. The library also has a reading machine which will scan and read newspapers, periodicals and other printed materials, and all the computers, which are free to use, carry text enhancing software for people who have difficulty reading normal print.
