Zara Spencer, Charnwoods Sport and Leisure Activity Co-ordinator, said: "This years programme is jam packed and weve included plenty of savings if people purchase their Wild Cards whilst booking on to activities.

There will be three new trips to Old Trafford, West Midlands Safari Park and a Skateboard Trip as well as five new activities.

  • Star Track Athletics
  • Beaumanor Team Challenge
  • Beaumanor Survival Skills

The old favourites will still be available including Tobogganing, Skiing and Ice Skating at Tamworth Snowdome. National Playday has also been extended to five venues " so even more children will be able to enjoy their summer holidays.
