giant snailZoolab are back at Charnwood Museum in Granby Street Loughborough. Over the summer holidays Zoolab are bringing their ever popular array of exotic animals with them.

During the summer visitors to Charnwood Museum in Loughborough may encounter a range of unusual animals during their trip. The museum is hosting Zoolab, a group that bring environmental studies to life through hands on sessions with exotic creatures. Zoolab will be bringing a variety of interesting creatures to the museum, including some, such as rats and cockroaches, which the museum would usually try to exclude as pests!

The Creepy Crawly invasion will include Giant Millipedes and Giant Land Snails slithering in the Education Room and visitors will be able to stroke a snake or go eye to eye with a tarantula or a scorpion.

So if you ever wanted to meet a Giant Millipede or wondered how large those snails in your back garden could actually grow, come to Charnwood Museum and find out for yourself.
