Police appeal for witnesses

giant snailOfficers from Leicestershire Constabularys road policing unit are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Shepshed. 

The collision occurred at about 7.20pm on Friday July 13, 2007 on the A512, Ashby Road and involved one vehicle, a silver Ford Escort which was travelling towards Thringstone.

The driver of the vehicle, Mr Ivan Price Morris (79) of Shepshed, Leicestershire died at the scene.

PC Adrian Summerfield from the road policing unit said: "We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who saw the vehicle prior to the collision to please get in touch with us."

"Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem could help with our enquiries."
