Learning at Loughborough Library
Posted on 22/08/2007
P. Klein
Well the summer has almost come to an end, if indeed it ever really started and many people are wondering what they can do over the Autumn. Maybe you want to learn a new skill or just do something that you havent tried before. With this in mind, Loughborough Library in Granby Street is holding an exhibition called Return to Learn which aims to bring together information about all the different aspects of training and learning.
There will be information about learning opportunities, both national and local and prospectuses from course providers. The library also has computers with internet access that can be used by visitors. Finally, and not least, you can borrow books for information about the subject of any course you are enrolled on, brushing up those study skills and how you can put your new found knowledge to use by improving your job hunting skills.
The display will be on between the 28/08/07 and 15/9/07. However if you drop by between 10:00 and 14:00 on 1st September 2007 (a Saturday) there will be staff from local educational establishments who will be able to offer information and advice on their courses.
