Loughborough based Apotex Scorpio Motorsport is delighted to announce its partnership with Nottingham-based software publisher Serif (Europe) Ltd, in support of 19-year-old motor racing star Will Bratt at the World Series by Renault race meeting on 8th/9th September at Donington Park Grand Prix Circuit, Leicestershire.

The worlds leading independent provider of design, graphics and desktop publishing software, award-winning Serif will back multiple race winner Will for rounds 17 and 18 of the Formula Renault UK Championship " the crucial penultimate event of the season.

Currently third overall in the driver standings, the Adderbury-based racer still has a chance of claiming the title this year in what is expected to be his final season of action in Formula Renault UK before a move up the motor racing ladder in 2008.

Driving for Loughborough-based Apotex Scorpio Motorsport, Will has produced some truly outstanding performances this year and his front-running exploits, which have seen him bag four race victories to date, underline the Oxon sensation as one of Britains true emerging talents in single-seater racing.

Serif has noted this undoubted potential and the Nottingham companys involvement with Wills track career marks its first foray into the world of motor racing, both parties hoping the Donington Park race meeting will see the start of a long and mutually beneficial relationship.

"Im delighted Serif has chosen to come onboard with us for the World Series race meeting which is going to be, by far, the biggest event of the season, said Will, "We all hope this can be the start of a fruitful relationship for everyone and Im feeling pretty confident ahead of the races.

"It would be fantastic to take a couple of podiums at Donington to celebrate Serifs involvement and Im confident we can make that happen. Of course, I want to fight for wins and if we can then who knows what could happen in the championship.

Promoting the companys latest product, AlbumPlus X2, Serifs partnership with the University of Oxford scholar will see a large number of corporate guests invited to the event and there will also be the chance for spectators to obtain a free commemorative software CD which the company is producing to mark its support of Will.

Commenting on Serifs involvement, Managing Director Gary Bates said: "This is a very exciting opportunity for Serif and were all looking forward to the Donington Park weekend, its set to be a huge event with over 100,000 spectators expected to attend. Promotion in front of that size of enthusiastic audience is obviously superb for the Serif brand.

"I want to take this opportunity to thank team sponsor Apotex UK for being so welcoming to us and I sincerely hope the Donington weekend is one of the most successful of the season for Will and the team. Hes had a tremendous year so far and we all hope to cheer him on to the podium and maybe even a couple of wins.

The provisional timetable sees Formula Renault UK qualifying scheduled to take place at 13.25 on Saturday, 8th September. Just one 20-minute session will be staged meaning each drivers best time will determine the starting order for the first race, each racers second fastest time forming the grid for race two.

Round 17 of the championship is timetabled to begin at approximately 09.25 on Sunday, 9th September, with round 18 expected to follow at around 15.50. As always, the raceday timetable is, of course, subject to change.
