Library Survey In Loughborough
Posted on 17/09/2007
P. Klein

In order to find out what young people think of Leicestershire Library services every child under the age of 16 who goes into one of the Countys libraries from today (17th September 2007) will be asked to fill out a questionnaire.
The questionnaire will ask them what they think about the staff, the books that are on offer and the library building amongst other things related to the library service.
When the survey is completed, the library bosses will collate the information and this will be used in the planning process when considering the needs and opinions of young people to develop services for the future. Leicestershire Libraries have an ongoing improvement programme and this is part of that scheme.
Nigel Thomas who is the Service Delivery Manager for Leicestershire Libraries said: " We would really like to see as many young people as possible commenting on what they think of library services".
So if you are under 16 and are going to Loughborough Library which is located on Granby Street, dont forget to fill in one of the questionnaires that are available. If you need help with the questionnaire then a parent or carer can help, alternatively a member of the library staff will be on hand to assist.
