Loughborough Recycling Centre

rugby So what do Leicester Tigers rugby Football Club have to do with Loughboroughs household waste and recycling centre? The answer is not immediately obvious (before all 400kg of Henry Tuilagi, James Hamilton and Martin Castrogiovanni head my way and I dive for cover). The answer is that one lucky person who is recycling their waste could win a pair of season tickets! As adult season tickets start at 245 each for the terrace this really is a prize that is worth having.

When you visit the recycling centre in Loughborough which is off Railway Terrace pick up a competition form and fill it out and you could be one of the lucky winners. If you dont win the season tickets the second prize is a five day coaching course with the players (I wouldnt last the warm up) or the third prize is a signed Tigers shirt (I could manage that).

Speaking about the promotion to get people recycling their waste Brian Page said "This initiative is a great way of encouraging the people of Leicestershire to continue to recycle.

If you want to enter the competition you have unti the 21st October 2007 to win the tickets, coaching or the shirt. And dont forget to take all that stuff that can be recycled (which is most things nowadays) down to the recycling centre with you.

There is a recycling hotline you can call on 0116 265 7339, or alternatively for further nformation you can contact the County Council on wastemgt@leics.gov.uk
