Witnesses to crimes
Posted on 05/10/07
P. Klein
Loughborough Local Policing Unit is looking for anyone who might have seen anything suspicious in Loughborough.
Firstly, sometime between 6:30pm on Friday night on 14/09/07 and 8am the following morning someone climbed over a wall to gain access to the rear of a property on Market Street in the town. They stole some black armoured cable, about 60m in length. They couldnt have carried it very far because of the weight so it is possible that they would have had a vehicle nearby. Likewise if you know of anyone who is offering or has been offered black armoured cabling recently the police would like to hear from you. If you want to give information anonymously then remember you can call CrimeStoppers.
At another incident, which occurred at the new Go Outdoors store on Bishops Meadow Road in Loughborough between 6pm on 15/09/07 and 8am the following morning thieves broke in and stole 1000s of outdoor pursuit jackets. If you were in the area around those times and saw any vehicles or people hanging around then again get in contact.
