gay coupleLeicestershire Constabulary is holding a consultation meeting at John Storer House this coming Wednesday specifically to seek the views of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered members of the community.

A couple of weeks ago the police held a similar evening in Leicester which was a success and it is now planned to repeat the event where people can speak to officers and their needs over local policing and public safety.

The event at John Storer House will be on 31st October 2007 from 6:30pm.

Issues that were raised at previous consultation meetings have included homophobic abuse, same sex domestic violence and police policy.

If you wish to attend please contact Darren Goddard on 0116 2222222 extension 2232.
