inLoughborough teamPeople who have been watching inLoughborough over the last couple of months will have noticed several changes to Loughboroughs premier online website. inLoughborough which started as a business directory for the local area has been continually evolving in response to user requirements. Recent developments include Loughborough job pages and getting listed as a Google news source.

Managing Director, Rhys N. Reed said: "The success of the site is attributed to our flexibility and commitment to provide what people are looking for. Every month the team sits down and reviews what has been happening in the previous month and how we can improve the site. We aim to have the improvements designed, tested and implemented by the next management meeting. Our success is shown by us exceeding our targets with each months visitor figures higher than the previous months for the last 8 months whilst reducing our marketing costs and having an increased number of advertising enquiries.

There visitor figures are no mean accomplishment either, inLoughborough now has around 5,000 visitors per week reading generating 1/3M hits per week. They are in the process of transferring their servers that power the site to a higher bandwidth facility which will enable the next planned expansion of the site.

However when questioned about what is to happen next with this unashamedly geographically website operating in the Borough of Charnwood Rhys said: "Our overall goal is to increase the number of unique visitors per week to 20,000 within the next 6 months. We have identified how this is going to be successfully accomplished and key dates along the way. Part of the process is developing cutting edge technology in order for us to realize our goals.

As part of the business development inLoughborough also attends a local networking group at breakfast once a week. Members of this business lead generation club have already suggested that inLoughborough enters for this years Leicestershire Business Awards. Given Rhys is a computer science PhD student and the rest of the team are all local to Loughborough then there is probably a bright future for the inLoughborough.com team.
