Regular beat surgeries are being held in Loughborough to give residents the opportunity to meet with their local police officers.

The local neighbourhood policing beat team covering Loughborough town centre, Dishley, Gorse Covert, Thorpe Acre, Sharpley Garendon and Shelthorpe are planning to travel around their beats to meet residents and speak to them about any issues or concerns they may have. Officers want to hear the concerns and opinions of residents because it will help them shape the policing priorities for the area.

These are to be held at the following locations on these times and dates:-

  • On Wednesday November 21 at the Tenants Association internet café on Charteris Close, Loughborough between 6pm and 9pm
  • On Thursday November 22 on Market Place, Loughborough between 10am and 2pm
  • On Saturday December 1 at the The Hut on Old Ashby Road, Loughborough between 11am and 2pm
  • On Monday December 3 at the Tenants Association internet café on Charteris Close, Loughborough between 9.30am and 11am
  • On Sunday December 9 in Woodthorpe village between 6pm and 7.30pm and in the Tiverton Road area in Loughborough between 7.45pm and 9pm
  • On Thursday December 13 on Market Place, Loughborough between 10am and 2pm
  • On Tuesday December 18 in the Allendale Road area between 6pm and 7.30pm and the Hadden Way area in Loughborough between 7.45pm and 9pm
  • On Thursday December 20 at the Tenants Association internet café on Charteris Close, Loughborough between 6pm and 9pm
  • On Saturday January 15, 2008 at the The Hut on Old Ashby Road, Loughborough between 11am and 2pm

People are welcome to come along to talk about crime prevention methods or to discuss any issues people may have about policing in their area.
