To celebrate the Rainbows Lotterys fourth Birthday, previous lottery winners throughout Leicestershire were invited to attend a very special Birthday party. Held at Starbucks in Fosse Park, Leicester, this event celebrated the last four years of the lotterys existence as well as thanking all of its supporters.

Around 30 people turned up on the day to celebrate the success of the lottery, which, since its inception in 2004 has helped to provide another form of much-needed funding for the Hospice. To make the event extra special, the guests were greeted by Leicester Riders Basketball player Chase Morton.

Jaspreet Dosanjh, Lottery Sales Executive for Rainbows says The local community have contributed and help fill the major void in funding for the hospice. Since its launch in January 2004, the Rainbows Lottery has played a huge part in ensuring that we can continue to support local children and their families; events like today are crucial to let our supporters know just how much they are appreciated

The Lottery, which costs 1 a week to play, gives players the chance to win a weekly jackpot of 1,000 as well as other cash prizes. Once players sign up, they are allocated a unique 5-digit number, which remains theirs for as long as they wish to keep playing. Every Friday, the lucky winners are selected at random with prize cheques automatically issued, so there is no need to claim.

For more information on how to play the Rainbows Lottery, call the Lottery Hotline on 0870 3300219 or visit www.rainbows.co.uk.
