missing persons from LoughboroughPolice are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of two young Chinese people who were last seen on Thursday February 27, 2008.

Miss Bing Quing Wu and Mr Chenwen Hui, both 17, have recently come to this country from China and were last known to be staying at the East Midlands Hotel in Loughborough. Police believe they left the hotel together and may well still be together.

Miss Bing Quing WU is 52" tall and is of slim build. She has very long, straight brown hair.

Mr Chenwen HUI is 6 tall and of medium build, he has short straight black hair and his complexion is described as spotty. He also has a 1" scar just under his left eye.

The Loughborough Police are concerned for the safety of these two, as they are new to this country and do not speak English. They are appealing for Bing Quing Wu and Chenwen Hui or anyone who knows where they are to contact the police and let them know they are safe and well.

Sergeant Roy Collier of Loughborough local policing unit said: "We are concerned for the safety of the pair due to the length of time they have been missing and the fact they can not speak English. We would urge anyone who recognises there description or there photograph to contact the police immediately.

"Any information no matter how insignificant it may seem could assist with our enquiries."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the duty sergeant at Loughborough local policing unit on Leicester (0116) 222 2222.
