Indecent Assault in Loughborough
Posted on 22/04/2008
P. Klein
Detectives from Loughborough are appealing for witnesses after a 14-year-old boy was indecently assaulted.
The incident happened at around 4.20pm on Thursday April 17, 2008 as the victim was walking home from school along Ling Road towards the town centre.
As he neared the junction with Woodthorpe roundabout, he was approached by a man who indecently assaulted him.
The suspect is described as white, in his forties, between 59" to 510" tall and of a slim build. He had grey tangled shoulder length hair and a scruffy beard. He was wearing a black woollen jumper and black trousers possibly jeans.
Detective Constable Claire Reid, who is investigating the incident, said: "Although the victim was not injured during the incident, he has clearly been left very distressed and we are appealing for the publics help in identifying this man.
"We believe several vehicles were driving past at the time of the incident and we would appeal to anyone in these vehicles who witnessed the incident or saw a man matching this description to please get in touch.
"If you know who this man is or saw someone matching this description in the area at the time of the incident, please contact us with any information you have."
