Three teenagers charged in connection with stolen archery equipment

Detectives investigating the theft of archery equipment from Merlin Bows in Loughborough have charged three teenagers with burglary.

A number of cross bows and arrows were stolen from the premises on Loughborough Road in Loughborough sometime between 11.30pm on Wednesday 5 March 2008 and 1.30am on Thursday 6 March 2008.

Two fourteen year old boys, and one fifteen year old boy, all from Loughborough, have been charged with burglary and will appear before Loughborough Youth Court on the morning of Thursday 15 May 2008.

Inspector Mark Cuddihy, Commander of Loughborough Local Policing Unit said; "We are still appealing to members of the public to let us know if they know the whereabouts of any bows or crossbows as a number of them are still outstanding.  If you are offered any archery equipment then please call the police on (0116) 222 2222 or Crimestoppers* which is free and anonymous on 0800 555 111
