T. Robson
An exhibition starts tomorrow (Friday 16th May 2008) at the Charnwood Museum in Loughborough.
The joint exhibition by Charnwood Arts - Pixel and Grain Gallery and Loughborough University. On the eve of the 40th anniversary of student unrest in Paris, this exhibition examines the many forms of protest throughout the world. The exhibition features the work of six Polish photographers who have each interpreted the theme of ‘Protest’ in their own way.
The six participating photographers are Jerzy Bucki, Swiatek Wojtkowiak, Maciej Dakowicz, Marek Locher, Rafal Bielawa and Radek-Radoslaw Komenda.
Later in May the exhibition will also include a collection of locally made banners following in the tradition of trade union banners, created as part of Loughborough University’s arts programme.
The exhibition runs until the 15th June 2008.
