Local Conservative Meets Concerned Residents

Local Prospective Conservative MP for Loughborough, Nicky Morgan, met with residents of Shepshed to discuss their concerns about a proposed development on fields on the edge of the town. The development, including a leisure complex and hotel has been proposed for an area already popular with local dog walkers and ramblers. There are concerns that such a development would prevent those already using the site from enjoying it in the future.
Following the discussion, Nicky commented "I think the residents of Shepshed have valid concerns about the proposed development. We discussed the best way to voice their concerns and I am confident that our local councils will take all points into consideration when reviewing the application."
