BANK HOLIDAY FUN AT SNIBSTON
Posted on 18/08/2008
Yet another damp summer is coming to an end and if the prospect of a rainy bank holiday indoors is enough to make you want to run away to the circus, panic not because help is at hand. Snibston is holding a special circus themed fun day with activities and entertainment for all of the family.
There are special children’s circus skills workshops provided by Loughboroughs World Famous Bill Brookman Productions. Learn how to juggle, spin plates, twirl a devil stick and walk on stilts. Imagine how impressed the other kids at school will with the demonstrations of new found talents!
As well as these exciting workshops, the National Festival Circus will be bringing all the thrills of the big top to Snibston with three circus shows throughout the day. Each show is packed full of favourites with bumbling clowns, baffling magic, daring acrobats and balancers and fast tempo juggling. Roll up for your ringside seat……
Circus skills workshops for under 7s are on at 11.30am and 2pm, and more challenging ones for ages 7 – 10 take place at 12.15pm and 2.45pm. Places are priced at £3.50 per child and are limited so pre-book by calling 01530 278 444.
Tickets to the circus are priced at £3.50 each and performances take place at 12pm. 1.30pm and 3pm. Please buy your ticket from the Snibston ticket desk, places are limited and will be given on a first come, first served basis.
