Police from Loughborough are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a racing bike from the grounds of the university.
The incident happened between 1.30pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday, June 10 outside the lab building at Loughborough University.
The bike, which is worth around £4,500, is described as a red Madone Trek mans bike.
PC Andy Dixon, who is investigating the incident said: "The bike is quite rare and we would urge people to get in touch if they see it.

"If anyone saw anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident then please get in touch. There would have been students around the campus. Maybe someone saw something suspicious?"
