Lead stolen from church in Loughborough

Officers in Loughborough are appealing for witnesses after lead was stolen from a church.
The incident happened between Thursday, May 29 and Sunday, June 1 at Loughborough Parish Church, in Steeple Row.
Lead, believed to be worth around 4,000 was taken in the incident.
PC Paul Anderson, who is investigating the incident said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and saw anything suspicious. Did you see someone acting suspiciously? Did you notice anything out of the ordinary?
"If you have any information at all which you think could help then please get in touch."
Anyone with any information is asked to call Leicestershire police on Leicester (0116) 222 2222 and follow the instructions to leave a message for an officer. When prompted key in PC Anderson's identification number 1921. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, which is free* and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
