Fatal RTC in Quorn

Officers from Leicestershire Constabulary's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A6 Loughborough Road in Quorn.
The incident happened at 8.21pm on Tuesday 26 August 2008 when a white Honda Integra, traveling towards Leicester, left the road and was in a collision with a tree, approximately 150 metres northwest of One Ash Island in Quorn.
A 20-year-old female passenger, Rebecca Amy Holwell from Mountsorrel, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a man, suffered serious injuries and is being treated at Leicester Royal Infirmary where his condition is currently being described as critical.
PC Gary Duplock from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "I am keen to hear from anybody that has seen this vehicle in the Loughborough area from 6pm on Tuesday 26 August. The vehicle has a noticeably loud exhaust."
