Indecent assault in Loughborough

Police are appealing for witnesses following an indecent assault that took place on Radmoor Road, Loughborough.

The incident happened at around 1.10pm on Thursday September 4 when a 17 year-old girl was walking towards Ashby Road when a man approached her opposite to the park and indecently assaulted her.

The suspect is described as white, between 5ft 10 and 6ft tall, of muscular build and was wearing a grey hooded top and blue denim jeans.  He was walking a white Staffordshire cross dog.

PC Malcolm Atherton, who is dealing with this investigation said: "We are looking to hear from anybody who saw a man matching this description in the area.  We know he was later seen walking along Ashby Road so we are keen for anyone with any information to come forward.

"If you know anything that you believe might help with our enquiries please contact us as soon as possible."
