Criminal damage to vehicle in Loughborough

Police are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle was damaged in Clowbridge Drive in Loughborough.

The incident occurred sometime between 8pm on Saturday 6 September and 3am on Sunday 7 September, 2008 when a BMW had a wing mirror removed and body work scratched.

A man was seen hanging around by the car at the time. He walked off in the direction of Blithfield Avenue.

The man is described as white, about 25 years-old, approximately 5ft 7in tall and of stocky build with a broad chest and shoulders. He had dark coloured hair which was combed forward and short on the back and sides. He was wearing a light coloured long sleeved shirt and light coloured trousers.

PC Brian Moss, who is investigating the incident said: "We're appealing for anyone who may have any information about this incident or remembers any suspicious activity in the area between these times to get in touch.

"If you know who this man might be from the description provided then please contact police."
