Arson at a park in Loughborough

Officers are appealing for information regarding an incident of arson at a park in Loughborough.
The incident occurred at around 3pm on Friday September 26, 2008 when a fire was started causing damage to the play area at Stapleford Park off Cropston Avenue.
The fire bridge extinguished the fire which caused considerable damage to the play equipment.
PC Brian Moss, who has been investigating this incident, said: "These kinds of acts of vandalism will not be tolerated and we take them very seriously.
"We want to make those responsible aware of the dangers of starting fires and the negative impact such behaviour can have on the surrounding community.
"If you have witnessed this incident or have any information as to the people responsible, please come forward and speak to us."
