Bay tree stolen from Loughborough

Officers in Loughborough are appealing for witnesses after a tree was stolen from the front garden of a property.

The incident happened between Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21 in Beacon Road when the 67-year-old victim discovered a Bay tree had been taken from his property.

The tree is described as around 3'6 " tall and cut into a triangle. It was in a red clay pot.

PC Nathan Adkin, who is investigating the incident, said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area and saw anything suspicious. Did you see someone loading the tree into a van? Did you see someone walking off with it? Have you been offered a tree like this for sale? If so we want to speak to you as you could have information that will help with our enquiries."
