Weekend upgrade may affect web services
Posted on 04/11/2008
Work to improve Leicestershire County Council’s website is being carried out over two weekends this month.
The upgrade work could affect all or parts of the services available on the website on November 8 and 9 and November 29 and 30.
There will be a minimum service available at all times providing contact information for critical services, however, visitors may not be able to use online services such as providing comments or feedback, searching, reporting faults and renewing library books.
More features on the site will become available over the course of the weekends as the work progresses.
Brian Page, Cabinet member for Resources, said: "We apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused but the work which is being done will lead to worthwhile improvements to the site. It is due to return to full operation on Monday morning."
To find out more about the planned work, see downtime information.
