Grand second hand book sale in Rothley

Ex-library books will be on sale at special bargain prices in Rothley later this month

Leicestershire County Council’s Library Services is holding the book sale on Saturday, 29 November between 9.30am and 3.30pm at Rothley Crossroads.

There will be a wide choice of titles for people of all ages, including fiction, non-fiction and some local studies books. There will also be CDs and DVDs to choose from.

Rothley Crossroads is on Loughborough Road, opposite the Red Lion. Please follow signs for the A6, take the slip road for Rothley and use the car park at the rear of the building. Disabled parking is available at the front of the building. The entrance for the sale will be at the side of the building on the Cossington Lane.

Please be aware there may be some queues as there are restrictions on the number of people allowed in the rooms. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

Libraries across Leicestershire are seeing an increase in visitors as the UK finds itself in a ‘credit crunch’ and possibly heads into recession.   • Stepping Up to success and improving job prospects with free newspapers, free internet facilities and a large choice of titles for all sorts of learning and development
  • Stepping Out - alone or with friends and family to free events ’’
  • Stepping Into the library’s welcoming surroundings where you can read all the latest best sellers for free and get up to date DVDs and audiobooks.
  • Stepping Up to a challenge - train your brain with crosswords, Sudoku and general knowledge quizzes.
