Burglary at beauty salon in Melton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a beauty salon in Melton.
The incident happened between 6.30pm on Wednesday, November 5 and 8.45am today (Thursday, November 6) when entry was gained to harlequin Health and Beauty, in Burton Street.
Two charity boxes, collecting for the Poppy Appeal, were stolen from the premises.
PC James Berridge, from Loughborough local policing unit said: "This is a despicable crime which will affect a charity close to many people's hearts.
"We would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch. We know there are some pubs in the local area. Maybe you were out having a drink and saw suspicious? Any information could help us with our enquiries."
