Charlottes Secrets was judged the overall winner of the Best Dressed Premises Competition in Loughborough while New Look won the Best Dressed Staff category.

The Competition which was run by the Town Centre Partnership and Charnwood Borough Council took place on Sunday 21 December and the overall winner was presented with a cheque for £100. The Best Dressed Staff category was also presented with a £100 to be shared amongst the staff that participated.

One of the judges, Cllr. Stephen Hampson (Conservative councillor for Syston East), Lead for Economic Development and Regeneration for Charnwood Borough Council, said: "Charlottes Secrets was chosen as the overall winner as it captures the imagination of the shopper with the huge wreath and grand pillars outside. Each side of the window has captured a different festive theme. The lingerie is elegantly displayed and the Christmas theme continues throughout the shop. The display represents the season as well as a clear brand and product identity.

Bow K Interiors won the most creative award due to their great use of colour and excellent use of outdoor space.

Other awards went to Jules for its originality, Tylers for the most attractive and George Hill for the most effective product display.

Adrian McInnes, Chair of the Town Centre Partnership, and one of the judges said: "This is an exciting opportunity for local shops to come together and bring a festive look and spirit to Loughborough. The quality and standard has been very high and all the shops are to be highly commended for their efforts which I am sure have been appreciated by the shoppers.
