A self-weighing suitcase… Adjustable-heeled shoes… Designs of tomorrow on view today!
If you’ve ever struggled to weigh your suitcase before jetting off on holiday, then a Loughborough student may well have come up with the perfect solution.
Richard Taylor’s novel new suitcase design has an integrated self-weighing device, allowing users to weigh their luggage with ease and without the need for bathroom scales!
Richard’s design is just one of hundreds that will be on display at this year’s Loughborough University Design and Technology Degree Show, called ‘Ideation’. Taking place from Friday 13 to Monday 16 June, the show will feature working prototypes, models and graphics of innovative ideas, produced by students who are graduating from one of the best product design courses in the UK.
