Loughborough holds Facilitating Innovation conference
Loughborough University will be holding a one-day conference on Facilitating Innovation on Wednesday, 25 February.
The event, which is free of charge to attend, is being held by University research group The Manufacturing Organisation, which this year is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Loughborough is one of several leading universities participating in the Innovation and Productivity Grand Challenge, and will present the Universitys research findings at the conference as the project comes to a close.
The conference will also focus on how companies can increase their productivity during this difficult economic period using incremental innovation, which looks at making small changes to business to improve trading, without losing money or staff.
The day will also provide a networking opportunity for senior engineers, as well as an opportunity to find out about future research projects within the University.
Conference speakers will include Duncan Varnes (Lead Director, UK and ROI for GKN Driveline) and Graham Radcliffe (a leading bioscience city entrepreneur), who have both benefited from working with Loughborough University.
For further information, or to book your place at the conference, please contact us at goldfish@lboro.ac.uk
