Burglary in Loughborough

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary from a garage at an address in Newstead Way in Loughborough.

The incident happened sometime between 11.30pm on Wednesday January 14 and 5.28am on Thursday January 15, 2009 when entry was gained via the garage door.

A black GT5 EyeDrive mens mountain bike, worth a substantial amount of money, as well as a burgundy Townsend womens mountain bike, a quantity of tools, some golf clubs and a push chair were stolen from the garage.

PC Nathan Adkin, who is investigating the incident said: "Were appealing for anyone who may have any information about this incident or remembers any suspicious activity in the Newstead Way area between these times to get in touch.

"Did you see any suspicious vehicles? Have you been offered a mountain bike or any property matching what has been stolen? If so then please contact police."
