Automatic Public Convenience

Posted on 24/02/2009

The Automatic Public Convenience located in Granby street car park is due to close later this month and will be completely removed in March 2009.

Electrical and water supplies will be shut off on Monday 23rd February 2009 and the toilets will be closed from then on.

The decision to close the toilets will create annual rental savings in the region of £22,000 per year and follows the opening of the newly refurbished toilets in Queens Park which complements the other town centre facilities at Biggin Street and Market Place both which have received 5 star awards from the British Toilet Association.
