Read the New-Look Plan and Win 50!
Posted on 01/04/09
A VISION for the future of Charnwood has been published and it could make one lucky resident 50 better off!
Charnwood Borough Councils new-look Corporate Plan 2009-2012 is now available to view online at www.charnwood.gov.uk/pages/corporate_plan
The document includes the Councils immediate priorities for the next three years which help form the foundation for the long-term objectives over the next decade.
And just by looking at the Corporate Plan could lead to one resident picking up 50 worth of vouchers for a store of their choice.
The cover of the new Plan features 12 different areas of the Borough and were asking people to tell us where they are.
There are clues to identify some of the sites inside the Plan, while the locations of some of the other pictures are more obvious.
The person who correctly recognises the most locations will pick up 50 worth of vouchers and in the event of a tie, the winner will be drawn from a hat.
Cllr Richard Shepherd (Conservative councillor for Quorn & Mountsorrel Castle), the Leader of Charnwood Borough Council, said: The new Corporate Plan sets out clearly our ambition for the Borough.
Id like to thank all those who have helped to produce it.
Residents, businesses and partners all helped to shape the Corporate Plan during a six-week consultation period at the beginning of the year.
Members of Charnwoods Cabinet and Officers held 11 exhibitions in Anstey, Loughborough, Mountsorrel, Shepshed, Syston and Thurmaston and also attended a number of Parish Council meetings.
Hard copies of the Plan are currently being printed and will be available from the Council offices.
To enter the competition, write down your answers from left to right, top to bottom and send them along with your name, address and telephone number to Corporate Plan Competition, Communications Team, Charnwood Borough Council, Southfield Road, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 2TX.
Alternatively, email your answers to communications@charnwood.gov.uk by the closing date of 5pm on Friday, May 29th, 2009.
