BREACH OF ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR INJUCTION LEADS TO 3 MONTH PRISON SENTENCE

Yesterday, a 3 month jail sentence was ordered to a young man who broke the terms of his injunction for the third time in three months.

Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing, on behalf of Charnwood Borough Council, sought and obtained the injunction which prohibited the defendant from entering certain areas of the Shelthorpe Estate in Loughborough and from carrying offensive weapons.

The defendant was again found within the exclusion area and was conveyed to Leicestershire County Court by the Police within hours to answer for his behaviour.
