Theft of motorcycle
Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcycle was stolen in Bottesford.
The incident happened between 4.45pm and 7.20pm on Tuesday, April 22 in Grantham Road.
The victim had left the bike on the side of the road as it had run out of fuel. When he returned to collect it, he discovered it had been taken.
The bike is a yellow Honda Fireblade 900, worth an estimated £2,000.
PC Nathan Adkin, who is investigating the incident said: "The victim left his bike close to the junction with Walkers Close.
"As the bike had run out of fuel it would have had to be lifted onto the back of a van or wheeled away. We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to get in touch.
"Alternatively, we would like to speak to anyone who knows someone who has recently acquired a bike matching this description."
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC 362 Nathan Adkin on 0116 222 2222 and follow the instructions to leave a message for an officer. When prompted key in his identification number 0362. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers, which is free* and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
