Burglary in Thurmaston

Police are appealing for anyone with information about a burglary at a house in Thurmaston to get in touch.

The incident happened between 10pm on Saturday, March 28 and 5am on Sunday, March 29, in Chruch Hill Road, Thurmaston, when access was gained to a garage and Easter eggs were taken, along with a motorbike helmet and gloves

PC Ed Stephenson, who is investigating the incident said: "Since the incident we have been following up a number of lines of enquiry but now we need the publics help.

"We would ask anyone who knows anything about the burglary to get in touch. It is possible that the suspect would have talked about this down the local pub. Maybe you have heard something on the grapevine. If so we would like to hear from you."

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC 2029 Ed Stephenson on 0116 222 2222 and follow the instructions to leave a message for an officer. When prompted key in his identification number 2029. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, which is free* and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
