Theft from business premises on Belgrave Road

Theft from business premises on Belgrave Road
Police are appealing for witnesses following a theft from a business premises on Belgrave Road in Leicester.
The incident happened sometime between 11pm on Monday April 6 and 6pm on Wednesday April 8, 2009 when 20 air-conditioning units being stored outside, at the back of the premises, were stolen.
The total value of these units is approximately £40,000.
Police Community Support Officer Vinod Modi, from Keyham Lane Police Station, said: “The units are very heavy and lifting equipment and a lorry would have been needed to remove them from the premises.
“I would appeal to anybody who saw any suspicious vehicles in the Belgrave Road area to contact police.
“Have you been offered any of these units or any of the metal that may have been taken from them? If so, please contact police or Crimestoppers, which can be done anonymously.”
