Officers are appealing for witnesses after an incident of indecent exposure in Abbey Park Road in Leicester.

The incident happened at 9.50am on Monday May 4, 2009 when the victim, in her twenties, was walking along the path running alongside the canal near to Abbey Park Road.

She noticed a man who stopped on the path ahead of her. As she passed him, he exposed himself to her and made inappropriate comments.

He is described as white, in his late thirties to early forties, about 5’10” tall and overweight. He is also described as bald and wearing a navy blue polo t-shirt. Both his ears were pierced, the left ear in three places.

PC Jason Lee, who is investigating this incident, said: “This incident has left the woman extremely upset and we are appealing for anyone who knows the identity of the person responsible to get in touch.

“If you witnessed this incident or was perhaps approached by the man in similar circumstances, we would urge you to get in touch.”
