Police are trying to trace a woman, who was the victim of a theft in a club in Leicester.

The incident happened early morning on Sunday May 3, when it was believed a man had taken a number of mobile phones from women’s bags at Liquid & Envy nightclub, Church Gate.

One woman had her phone returned to her on the night, but left the club before giving police her details.

A youth has been arrested in connection with the incidents and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

PC Neil Prior, the officer investigating the incident, said: “We would like to speak with this woman in the hope that she will help us with the rest of our investigation.

“If you was there that night and you spoke with a member of the police after having your phone stolen then we would like you to contact us.

“We would also like anyone else who was at the nightclub on this evening and either had their phone stolen or is aware of these incidents to call us.”
