Police officers from are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Market Harborough.

The incident took place sometime between 11.30pm on Thursday May 7 and 12.40am this morning (Friday May 8, 2009) at a property on Sandringham Way.

The occupants were woken by a noise and on investigating found someone had broken in through the front door. Nothing is believed to have stolen from the house.

PC Claire Murray, from Market Harborough local policing unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity on Sandringham Way or the surrounding area to get in touch.

“Please call us if you have any information regarding this incident or the people responsible.”
